HISTORY

I come from the small, one red light town of Springfield, Louisiana. I went to College for Integrative Biology at Southeastern Louisiana University. While in college I met Ty who was a combo welder working in refineries around the area. He was constantly traveling all over the United States for work, and I fell in love with the stories he would tell of everywhere he went and the things he had seen. Eventually, we finally decided it was time for me to take a leap of faith and go on the road and travel with him. Not long after that, I started looking for something to do while he was at work and tried many different things to occupy my time. Finally, I decided to try and make caps. After much persistence and some help from close friends and family, I fine tuned my skills and created the Blue Collar brand and quality over 12,000 welders have come to know and appreciate today.
